Carlo Ancelotti admits Real Madrid are ‘terrible’ in defence after conceding five goals to Barcelona.

Los Blancos were defeated 5-2 by Barcelona in the Supercopa de Espana final on Sunday, leaving Los Blancos heartbreakingly missing out on the title.

“We have to be realistic, we didn’t defend well, they (Barcelona) scored very easily, we didn’t do well as a team and individually,” the Italian coach said.

“It’s very sad and disappointing for us. This หากคุณสนใจเล่นพนันออนไลน์ที่ดีที่สุด สามารถสมัครสมาชิก UFABET ได้ที่นี่ พร้อมรับโปรโมชั่นพิเศษสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ is football. We have to go home. Our sadness is the same as the fans’. We have to look forward and prepare for the next game (at Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey on January 16).

“I have nothing to say, he (Kylian Mbappe) played well but we have to forget about the rest and look to the next game.

“The game didn’t go in a good direction from the first minute to the last minute. We had the advantage of the players but didn’t create enough chances. I’m frustrat with everything in the game.”

“When I talk about the team, I’m talking about everyone. We didn’t defend well at the back, nor in the middle. The team wasn’t compact, and we need to defend better… They scored very easily, and we didn’t manage to work well collectively or individually,” Ancelotti explained.

Despite the loss, Ancelotti urged his players to quickly forget the defeat, “look ahead, and regain the positive momentum” with which they arrived in Saudi Arabia.
